Recycling and Waste Management

At B&B Vending Ltd it is our aim to minimise our impact on the planet by endeavouring to reduce our waste and recycle wherever possible and dispose of hazardous waste responsibly.

WEEE and c10c

What is WEEE?

WEEE is the term applied to all electrical and electronic equipment (TVs, PCs, white goods and vending machines to name but a few) when it is to be disposed of at the end of its life.

Under the legislation, all producers must register with an approved compliance scheme which will discharge their WEEE obligations for the recovery and recycling of equipment. In addition, producers are already marking all equipment with the “crossed out” wheelie bin symbol and must supply data on the volume of equipment put on the market.

For more information on the WEEE directive please visit the DTI's website.

What is c10c?

The vending industry has prepared for WEEE by forming the “not for profit” company, c10c. All major vending machine Producers/Importers have come together under c10c to act together to discharge WEEE obligations in the most economic way. By “working as one “, vending machine producers will ensure the best possible solution for the Vending Industry as a whole.
